A PRACTICE OF PLACE

The way we live.
The places we make.

A garden beyond a shaded room. A restaurant that feels right after dark. A hotel arrival that stays with you. We design from these everyday experiences, bringing interiors, materials and delivery into one considered process.

An interior design company in Kuala Lumpur working across homes, hospitality and commercial spaces, with the depth of an international design group.

DESIGNING WITH THE TROPICS

Let the light in.
Give it somewhere
to soften.

In Kuala Lumpur, the transition between indoors and outdoors deserves as much thought as the room itself. Shade, privacy, ventilation and the touch of a material shape the way a place is experienced.

That is our starting point: read the setting, understand the people, then choose what belongs.

HOW A PROJECT TAKES SHAPE

Listen & plan

The brief, the site and the priorities. We establish what the space needs to achieve.

Design & resolve

Layouts, materials, light and technical coordination turn a direction into a workable design.

Make & deliver

Procurement, site reviews and handover follow the agreed scope and programme.

BEFORE WE BEGIN

A little clarity.

What types of projects do you design in Kuala Lumpur?+

We work across residential, hospitality, retail, restaurant and commercial interiors. The service pages explain the different scopes, with project galleries showing the range of design experience.

Do you offer design and build?+

Yes. Design and build can combine design development, procurement and construction coordination within an agreed appointment. We confirm the project-specific scope, responsibilities and exclusions in the proposal.

How is an interior design budget established?+

Area alone is not enough. Existing condition, required services, finish specifications, custom joinery, furniture and delivery timing all affect the budget. Share plans and priorities so we can discuss a suitable scope.

Can overseas owners participate remotely?+

Yes. We can agree scheduled reviews, a decision register, drawing access and sample approval arrangements. Site access and local responsibilities should be confirmed at the outset.

How long does a project take?+

Timing depends on design scope, approvals, procurement and construction complexity. We set out a project programme after reviewing the brief rather than promise one duration for every interior.

Do you work with condominium management requirements?+

We review the available management requirements with the project team, including access, renovation submissions and working arrangements. Required approvals and specialist responsibilities are identified for the particular building.

Can you source furniture and finishes?+

Furniture, fittings and finish sourcing can form part of the appointment. We discuss samples, availability, lead times, installation and aftercare before recommending a procurement route.

What should I send for the first discussion?+

Send the location, approximate floor area, available plans, project type, target dates and a short description of what you want to achieve. A budget range helps us recommend the right next step.
