The garden joins the table.
A timber ceiling and full-height openings give the dining room a close relationship to its garden setting. Tables and warm overhead light create smaller moments of intimacy within the open room.

The ceiling establishes a strong direction above smaller groups of tables. Warm light and the darker overhead plane bring attention down to the setting of the meal.
The edge of the landscape
Glazing and planting keep the dining room close to its surroundings. The experience comes from this balance of a sheltered interior and a visible garden beyond it.
