The guest sees the atmosphere
Arrival, waiting and the walk to the table set the tone. Test the layout as a first-time visitor: is the entrance clear, is waiting comfortable, and can conversations happen without competing with every other table?
The team needs a working route
The same plan must support food delivery, clearing, replenishment and access to service points. Discuss routes with the operator before deciding on a final seating arrangement. Attractive layouts can still create difficult crossings.
Review the room in daylight and after dark
A lunch service and an evening service may need different lighting settings. Sample surfaces in both conditions and consider sound, maintenance and seating comfort alongside the visual concept.
